 TW: Political     I can’t help but feel like todays news about Graham Platner came at a suspicious time election wise. He’s the nominee for the Democratic Party, and there’s one more week for him to drop out. This is just another instance of the Fractured political system in America continuing to fracture. If the allegations are true, I will not support Graham Platner any longer. I said on Bsky that his party hasn’t had an actual message for years now. Ever since 2016, the Democratic Party has fractured into at least two factions, but certainly way more, all with their own messaging and direction for the party. Any time one of these factions starts to win out, there just so happens to be a sexual assault story that surfaces. Or, a corruption scandal that ends careers just happens to be brought up years later. Is my point being made? The Central Government is wayy more corrupt than you think it really is, on both sides.

Hello, it’s been a bit since I was online anywhere but BlueSky. I realise I’ve been leaving everyone in the mud by not saying anything about my whereabouts recently, so I figure I’d say something. I’ve been making music lately. More specifically, I’m working on my songwriting abilities. I’ve already written a couple songs so far and I’m hoping to finishing writing many more. After I get some nice lyrics, I’m gonna learn to make music for those words. I’ve come to realise I’ve always wanted to make my own music, so instead of chasing things that honestly won't happen — like becoming a streamer or a YouTuber —I want to focus on outlets to make me happy. I’m hoping to create a collection of songs to release so I can play some in my area live (probably around 13, but no promises on the final number).      The first voting system, also the simplest system and popular, is Plurality voting, also known as First-past-the-post voting. This is the one you’re probably most familiar with, and it’s the easiest to understand. When you go to vote, you vote for one person of your choosing, and whoever gets the most votes wins the election. This system works great because it is extremely simple to understand, but it also means that candidates don’t need a majority to win the election. They only need more votes than the other candidates on the ballot.      But if you want a system that requires a majority to get elected, the next system we have is called Two Round Voting , also called “Majority Voting”. That's right! Ya boys learning to code his own website! The page that's live right now is currently a "blank slate" page though, because keep in mind that I'm gonna be offline for potentially months, and a blank state represents the hiatus better. When I'm back online, I'll have a proper website for y'all to see.
