 TW: Political     I can’t help but feel like todays news about Graham Platner came at a suspicious time election wise. He’s the nominee for the Democratic Party, and there’s one more week for him to drop out. This is just another instance of the Fractured political system in America continuing to fracture. If the allegations are true, I will not support Graham Platner any longer. I said on Bsky that his party hasn’t had an actual message for years now. Ever since 2016, the Democratic Party has fractured into at least two factions, but certainly way more, all with their own messaging and direction for the party. Any time one of these factions starts to win out, there just so happens to be a sexual assault story that surfaces. Or, a corruption scandal that ends careers just happens to be brought up years later. Is my point being made? The Central Government is wayy more corrupt than you think it really is, on both sides.

Hello, it’s been a bit since I was online anywhere but BlueSky. I realise I’ve been leaving everyone in the mud by not saying anything about my whereabouts recently, so I figure I’d say something. I’ve been making music lately. More specifically, I’m working on my songwriting abilities. I’ve already written a couple songs so far and I’m hoping to finishing writing many more. After I get some nice lyrics, I’m gonna learn to make music for those words. I’ve come to realise I’ve always wanted to make my own music, so instead of chasing things that honestly won't happen — like becoming a streamer or a YouTuber —I want to focus on outlets to make me happy. I’m hoping to create a collection of songs to release so I can play some in my area live (probably around 13, but no promises on the final number).      The first voting system, also the simplest system and popular, is Plurality voting, also known as First-past-the-post voting. i'm working to save up for a car and it isn't helping that everyone in my family keeps telling i wouldn't even to be able to keep a crappy car if i managed to get one

 I got up at 7AM expecting it to be like my normal days where i work 9am-5pm, and literally as I'm getting ready i glance at my calendar and it says "11am-5pm". So I pull out my phone and open up the scheduling app and it says "11am-5pm". Now i'm thinking "Yes I can eat lunch at home!" only downside to working 6 hours is that I don't get a 30 minute break, just one 15 minute break.

 I want to say something about social media that I want to get off my chest. I think Social Media was a mistake . Now that doesn't mean there was some good in it, but now it's just a stain on the world. It's hard to find any genuine people on them anymore with the amount of bots on them. Before I deactivated my Twitter account last year, one in five users were bots on the platform. I imagine it's gone up even more now. Other platforms are just down right terrible, Instagram, TikTok, and many others. On DeviantART I can't even scroll a little bit on the homescreen without seeing porn. Also Social Media has been responsible for so many people in recent years spreading disinformation unlike anything seen before. One major reason is nobody bothers to fact-check anything online these days, many just simply believing everything they see, like a small naïve child.  I'm having a fun making these "Micro projects" in Adobe Premiere Pro where the project is typically less than 20 seconds in length and can be done within a day. I've been experimenting with old styles of video (VHS) and I've been having a blast. Might try even more in the future.

 i'll explain more in the monthly summery post later.  so i get to work today -- i'm a cashier -- and i go to the note sheet we have that says what register we have to operate. i look at my name, and it says "maintenance". my boss came over as i looked at the sheet and said the person who works in maintenance clocked out today. i don't know why i was chosen to take their place because i have no experience in maintenance at all, never worked in that department anywhere. no suprise i wasn't very good at my job today. most of my time was spent pushing the carts back to the front of the store, only to see all of em gone everytime i came back with more. i will give it one benefit though, i could pick when i go on lunch and on break, that's it though. overall not a great day, hopefully next time i go in it's back to normal.

 i went back on there (gamerisboring.com) and gave it a design it had several months ago because i thought it looked better. still got some stuff to do on there though, so over the next few days i'll get to it. i gotta get a new logo for the website though, as i don't use 'gamerisboring' anymore.
