(Political Opinion) Is this the real America?

Warning: This post is political in nature. If you aren't interested in this, please ignore!

When you're at work and you overhear your boss speaking, does he threaten everyone around and act delusional? Or does he act professionally and speak with a clear tone? Hopefully the latter, but not for the highest role in the nation, the President of the United States of America.

Donald Trump isn't the only mad President we've had recently, but he's definitely the worst one. In the short time we've been in his second term, he's heavily consolidated power in the Executive Branch, and destroyed many of the governmental agencies and Checks and balances.

In recent days, he has started a war none of his predecessors ever wanted to start for obvious reasons, with Iran. No one started a war with Iran for the simple fact Iran has the superior piece on the board with control of the Strait of Hormuz. I had a chat with a Co-worker about how Trump wanted Europe to open the Strait, and I described it to him like this: I took a box of Bad food that we pulled, and dumped it on the ground. I then tell him to clean it up. It's my mess, but somehow it was his responsibility to clean it up. That's Trump with the Strait of Hormuz in a nutshell.

But even this feels like it's only a half piece of the puzzle with Trump. Everyday and increasingly within the hour, he will completely switch up his decisions and reasoning. One day, he's threatening to annex Greenland, then the next day he's saying he won't do it. Then he says he's taking it again. Finally he says a "deal" was made, which was largely ceremonial, as it just reaffirmed the status quo of the US bases in Greenland.

Same thing with Iran. We're taking the Strait, now we're gonna bomb everything. They're "making a deal", now "A whole civilization will die tonight". Now we're blockading the Strait ourselves? Seeing my point? This is the type of symptoms you'd see with your old man with Alzheimer or Dementia, and NOT something the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES should be displaying.

I might make a different post in the future laying my ideas out to prevent something like this happening again, but that's for a different time. But in the meantime, the 7th Party System is looking to be the most dysfunctional of them all.
