Updates

Hello, it’s been a bit since I was online anywhere but BlueSky. I realise I’ve been leaving everyone in the mud by not saying anything about my whereabouts recently, so I figure I’d say something.

I’ve been making music lately. More specifically, I’m working on my songwriting abilities. I’ve already written a couple songs so far and I’m hoping to finishing writing many more. After I get some nice lyrics, I’m gonna learn to make music for those words. I’ve come to realise I’ve always wanted to make my own music, so instead of chasing things that honestly won't happen — like becoming a streamer or a YouTuber —I want to focus on outlets to make me happy. I’m hoping to create a collection of songs to release so I can play some in my area live (probably around 13, but no promises on the final number). I will most certainly stay pretty silent online until I’m finished making my music. So when that’s done, I will return to weekly streaming on Twitch with my best friends. I’m not gonna guarantee any timeline — I don’t wanna rush art — so it may takes several months to over a year before then. All that is guaranteed, is I will release an EP by the end of November. It will feature three songs that I’ve written so far, and it will be released silently.

At this time, I am currently in the planning stages for my OC, Eris’, lore story. There is a short summery of the beginning of the story available to read on my home website (https://valesart.com/), but this story is gonna be way bigger than anything I’ve ever made. Spontaneity is what gets me writing these stories for ever and ever. I will say one thing about the full story, the protagonist is a Doctor, not Eris.

Why am I writing so much lately? Well, I want to get better at my writing and story-telling skills. Admittedly, I have a habit of downplaying myself as a person. But in this department, it’s fairly accurate. I’ve been looking to my younger sister for my motivation because she is so much better than I am at writing, to the point where she’s getting commissions for her skills. But still, this is an area I’ve been meaning to improve at for a long time now, so it feels good to finally build it up.

Of course, any updates to the things above will be posted about here first, due to the niche audience that would be reading this. So stay tuned for more, as this is the main place for major things in my life. Thanks for reading, goodnight.
